Lancashire and North-West

This group, of around 110 members, meet monthly on a Wednesday evening in autumn and winter.   The group meets at Haskayne Village Hall near Ormskirk L39 7JE at 7.30 unless otherwise stated.  The members arrange 3 garden visits over the summer months, plant sales and other events in spring and summer.   They produce a newsletter twice a year.

Wednesday 20th December.   Christmas Social, Buffet and talk “Clematis” by Richard Hodson of Hawthorne Nurseries, Hesketh Bank.    Cost to be confirmed.

Wednesday 20th Feb. - 'Hardy geraniums & pulmonarias' by Vanessa Cook.
Wednesday 20th Mar. - 'The Patch: A garden for all seasons' by Jim Almond.
Wednesday 17th Apr. starting at 7.15.p.m. our A.G.M. followed by 'Fantastic Foliage'- a talk by John Foley.
Saturday 11th May our annual Plant Sale at Lydiate Parish Hall 11.00a.m-3.00p.m. A selection of plant stalls , craft stalls and refreshments will be available. Entrance is £1 per adult.
